SUMMARY:European Research and Innovation Days
DESCRIPTION:European Research and Innovation Days is the European Commission’s annual flagship Research and Innovation event\, bringing together policymakers\, researchers\, entrepreneurs and the public to debate and shape the future of research and innovation in Europe and beyond. \nThe event took place online on 23-24 June 2021\, allowing the entire community to get involved from anywhere. This year marked the start of Horizon Europe and\, as anticipated during the EOSC Symposium 2021\, it was a crucial moment for the EOSC ecosystem. \nThe EOSC Association participated in the signature ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding for the EU Partnerships on Day 1\, as well as in a dedicated session on Digital infrastructures and European Open Science Cloud on Day 2. \n23 June 12:15-13:00 CEST – Plenary\nMemorandum of Understanding signature ceremony for EU Partnerships\nSpeakers: Frans Timmermans\, Jean Eric Paquet\, Karel Luyben\, Marina Bill\, Giorgio Anania\, Axel Eggert\, Joaquim Menezes\, Pierre Joris\, Paul Cartuyvels\, Stephan Neugebauer\, Armin Graeter\, Michael Lippert\, Henk Prins \nThe launch event for the 11 new co-programmed European Partnerships\, which will all run for 7 years under Horizon Europe.
