SUMMARY:Portuguese Research Data Forum
DESCRIPTION:The Portuguese Research Data Forum (Fórum GDI)\, will be held on the 24th and 25th of November. \nThe Forum is a capacity-building and discussion space for sharing ideas\, emerging initiatives\, projects and best practices in support of research data management that seeks to bring together digital repository and data centre managers\, information technologists\, library\, archive and data curators\, informatics specialists\, researchers\, data scientists and science managers from research institutions and science funding bodies. \nThe session “EOSC Implementation: National Experiences” aims to share with the Portuguese scientific community some of the EOSC adoption strategies and implementation plans\, at a country level. This session will take place on November 24th\, including presentations from Ireland and Finland\, sharing their experiences and strategies for EOSC development. \n>> Programme (in Portuguese)

SUMMARY:National Tripartite Event Germany
DESCRIPTION:In its role as the Mandated Organisation for Germany in the EOSC Association\, the NFDI Association is hosting an EOSC National Tripartite Event on November 24\, 2022 from 10:00-13:00. \nThe event will be held virtual and in English. The program promises interesting presentations from science and politics\, an introduction of the NFDI-Sections\, as well as an exciting panel discussion with the topic “NFDI & EOSC – Why do we need both?”. \nAmong others\, there will be keynotes by Mario Brandenburg\, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and Research\, and by Karel Luyben\, President of the EOSC Association. \nThe event will be moderated by science journalist Jan-Martin Wiarda. \nFurther information will follow.
