SUMMARY:Ireland's First Annual National Open Research Festival
DESCRIPTION:The next EOSC-A National Tripartite Event in Ireland will take place on the morning of 3 November\, in conjunction with NORF’s National Open Research Festival 2023.\n\nThe National Open Research Forum (NORF) is pleased to announce Ireland’s National Open Research Festival 2023 and calls for proposals for lightning talks and workshops.  Established in 2017 to drive the national agenda for open research\, NORF provides a space for communication\, consultation and cooperation among key stakeholders in the research system regarding strategic issues and overarching policies and procedures on open research. \nMore information on the NORF Festival 2023 \nThe Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI)\, headquartered at the Royal Irish Academy (RIA)\, is the coordinating organisation for the National Open Research Forum (NORF). Ireland’s inaugural National Open Research Festival will be delivered with the support of DRI and RIA and the expertise of the Festival Programme Committee. Funding for the event is provided by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). \n\nImportant Dates\n2 May 2023: Call for proposals opens\n30 June 2023: Submission deadline\n7 September 2023: Notification of acceptance\n14 September 2023: Registration Opens\n2-3 November 2023: National Open Research Festival

SUMMARY:National Tripartite Event Ireland
DESCRIPTION:As part of the NORF Festival (Ireland’s National Open Research Festival 2023 | National Open Research Forum (norf.ie))\,starting on November 2nd\, Ireland will host its second National Tripartite Event on Friday\, November 3rd from 09:30 until 11:00 (local time) in person at the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin. \n\n\n\nThis event is organised by Roberto Sabatino of the EOSC Association’s Irish Mandated Organisation\, HEAnet. \nIn this session we will examine how the various priority actions funded by Ireland’s NORF map to the SRIA and MAR of EOSC. We will also start the discussion of the concept of nodes: what does it mean for Ireland\, how doe we get started and who needs to do what?
