DESCRIPTION:The DECIDO project invites you to its grand finale\, “DECIDO: Shaping the Future of Evidence-Informed Policy Making\,” on the 22nd of February 2024 at the Renaissance Brussels Hotel: Rue du Parnasse 19\, 1050 Brussels\, Belgium! \nJoin us as we celebrate the completion of our project and the groundbreaking impact of innovative methodologies\, tools\, and data in shaping effective evidence-based policies for public authorities. \nWhether you are a policy maker at the European\, national\, regional\, or local level\, a government agency representative\, a private sector IT professional\, a first response aid organisation\, or a citizen passionate about evidence-based policymaking\, this event is tailored for you! \nThe final conference promises an insightful day\, starting with a welcome and an overview of the future of policy-making. Engaging Ignition Talks will cover crucial areas\, from evidence-informed policymaking for carbon neutrality to the role of data in smart cities. Subsequent sessions will focus on the DECIDO project\, addressing challenges\, presenting results\, and sharing stories from the four DECIDO pilots on issues like forest fires\, floods\, power outages\, and wildfires. The conference will also feature a session on bridging innovations and exploitation\, culminating in a discussion with representatives from other EU projects within the DECIDO Horizon Community. Lastly\, a presentation of the DECIDO book\, “A Paradigm in policy-making: the Horizon 2020-101004605 DECIDO project\,” by Sapienza Università Editrice will be held.
