DESCRIPTION:Politehnica University of Timișoara is proud to announce the upcoming 11th edition of the Open Education Week International Workshop\, scheduled for Friday\, March 8\, 2024.\nThis hybrid event\, hosted by the Digital Education Department and the Multimedia Center\, in collaboration with the Alliance of European Universities E³UDRES² and the Ent-r-e-novators project\, promises to be a thought-provoking exploration of the challenges and opportunities in open science and education. \nDate and Time: \nFriday\, March 08\, 2024\, from 11:00 to 17:00 \nLocation: Room K1\, Conference Center of Politehnica University Timisoara (Vasile Pârvan Boulevard\, no. 2 B\, next to the Central Library of UPT) and online. \nTheme: \nUnder the theme of “Challenges in Open Science & Education\,” the workshop will delve into how open science and open educational resources are integrated into everyday activities\, particularly in universities\, research projects\, and education in general. \nHighlights: \n– Engaging presentations by international speakers \n– Interactive sessions and discussions \n– Insightful panels on the importance of open science and practices for universities \nAgenda Highlights: \n– Introduction to E³UDRES² and Ent-r-e-novators projects \n– Updates on open science initiatives in Europe \n– Experiences of open science and open access at the national and institutional levels \n– Showcase of digital tools for open science \n– Insights into open pedagogies\, emerging technologies\, and generative artificial intelligence \nParticipation: \nParticipation is free\, and attendees can choose between physical attendance at the UPT Conference Center or online participation.
