SUMMARY:National Tripartite Event: Belgium
DESCRIPTION:The Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union cordially invites the Belgian and European Open Science community to take part in the EOSC National Tripartite Event: Belgium. This event will follow the EOSC Partnership’s European Tripartite Event taking place on the same day\, Tuesday\, 16 April\, and will be held at the Palais des Academies in Brussels. \nThe goal of this event is to bring together the Belgian and European Open Science community and exchange best practices in the fields of Open Science and FAIR/Open Data. Participants will be given the opportunity to present posters of ongoing projects and activities related to Open Science and EOSC integration during a networking lunch. Furthermore\, there will be plenty of time for discussion and exchange of views during the afternoon session\, including the intervention of the European Tripartite\, a keynote by philosopher of science Sabina Leonelli on ethics in Open Science\, and two panel sessions on ongoing projects in the field of Open Science and integration of research data into EOSC in Belgium. \nYou can register for the event and explore the programme at the website of the Belgian Presidency. \nTo register for the event\, create an account at: https://delegates.belgium24.eu/secured/login. SUMMARY:EOSC Beyond Kick-off Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The EOSC Beyond overall objective is to advance Open Science and innovation in research in the context of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) by providing new EOSC Core capabilities allowing scientific applications to find\, compose and access multiple Open Science resources and offer them as integrated capabilities to researchers. \nThe project extends the state of the art of the EOSC Core and adopts a co-design methodology\, including requirements elicitation\, software development and validation in collaboration with different use cases from EOSC national and regional initiatives (e-Infra CZ\, Czechia\, NFDI\, Germany\, and NI4OS\, South East Europe region)\, thematic research infrastructures from Social Sciences and Humanities (CESSDA)\, Life Sciences (CNB-CSIC and Instruct-ERIC)\, Environmental Science (ENES and LifeWatch)\, and Health and Food (METROFood-RI). \nEOSC Beyond builds on the capacities of prospective EOSC Nodes and partners with multi-annual experience in developing solutions for large-scale federated digital infrastructures and aligns with the technical architecture and requirements of data spaces from different business sectors. \nMore information on CORDIS: \nhttps://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101131875
