DESCRIPTION:The EOSCsecretariat.eu\, in collaboration with the INFRAEOSC-05 landscaping Task Force\, is inviting you to the Validation workshop of the project “Developing a PoC for a platform monitoring live indicators measuring EOSC readiness”  on 9 September 2021 from 14:00 to 16:00 CEST. \nThe validation workshop is carried out as part of the project’s CO-creation activities\, which will be two hours\, interactive\, online event. The workshop will be articulated in two parts: in the first one the team will present the PoC and the lesson learned during its development\, while the second part will open the floor to participants. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 3rd Open Science FAIR Conference\, an international event for all topics related to Open Science\nOpen science (also referred to as open scholarship) is at a crossroads. Implementation and adoption are progressing\, with researchers\, research institutions\, funding agencies\, service providers and infrastructures all engaging at various levels. However\, different models are emerging which produce a seemingly fragmented ecosystem and achieve small steps on top of traditional scholarly communication system. In order to enable international and interdisciplinary research\, we need to ensure interoperability across communities and services while still maintaining our ability to support diversity of workflows and knowledge systems. \nOSFAIR2021 is organized as an emblematic initiative of OpenAIRE\, co-organized by key international initiatives in the area of Open Science: COAR\, EIFL\, Force11\, LA Referencia\, LIBER\, OPERAS\, Sparc\, Sparc Europe. \nOSFAIR2021 aims to bring together and empower open science communities and services; to identify common practices related to open science; to see what are the best synergies to deliver and operate services that work for many; and to bring experiences from all around the world and learn from each other. \nThe EOSC Association at the OSFAIR2021\nJoin us on 21 September from 9:30 to 11:00 CEST\, for a 90-minute workshop titled “The European Open Science Cloud – Priorities\, ideas\, and resources for the Implementation phase of EOSC”. \nThis highly interactive session will provide information on the vision and priorities of the Implementation Phase of the European Open Science Cloud. SUMMARY:EOSC Task Force workshop at the Open Science FAIR
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 21 September 9:30-11:00 CEST \nThis interactive session is organised by the EOSC Association and will provide information on the vision and priorities of the Implementation Phase of the European Open Science Cloud. It will also gather information on new ideas and resources coming from the OS Fair participants that can contribute directly to the newly set up EOSC Advisory Groups and their Task Forces. \nThe EOSC Association represents a single voice for the advocacy and representation of the broader EOSC Stakeholder community in Europe\, promoting alignment of EU research policy and priorities. A key role of the Association is to continuously develop the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) which will influence future EOSC activities at institutional\, national and EU level (including the EOSC-related work programmes in Horizon Europe).
