DESCRIPTION:This 32nd edition will take place on 10th-12th September\, 2024 in Bergen\, Norway where Norwegian NREN Sikt together with NORDUnet will welcome everybody with a vested interest in the research and education community. \nIn line with the long-established way of shaping the conference there will be plenary sessions with compelling keynote speakers\, parallel sessions that cover some of the most recent and relevant topics\, ample room for hallway conversations\, not forgetting the social networking events such as the opening reception and the dinner. \nParticipation continues to be both relevant to NREN and Campus staff\, including researchers and scientists from all areas. \nWe will meet up at the Radisson Blu Hotel where the programme will unfold. \nRegistration will open in December\, 2023

SUMMARY:National Tripartite Event: France
DESCRIPTION:France is deeply engaged in promoting European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) activities and looks forward to hosting the 3rd edition of its tripartite event in September 2024. This year\, the French National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA) is responsible for the event’s organisation\, with Victoria Dominguez-Del-Angel as the main contact person. The implementation of EOSC is based on a long-term process of alignment and coordination pursued by the European Commission\, EOSC Association and diverse stakeholders of the French and European research landscape. \nThis tripartite event will provide an overview of current developments in French Open Science. It is an excellent opportunity for researchers to become familiar with relevant topics through roundtable discussions\, to expand the EOSC community through networking and knowledge sharing\, and finally to discuss challenges and upcoming opportunities in EOSC. \nThe event will take place on September 12 and 13\, 2024 (noon-to-noon) in Paris\, at the Institut Henri Poincaré. \n

DESCRIPTION:In 1980\, this Conference has been started following a joint initiative of Aachen and Vienna\,\nto establish an informal group of representatives from leading engineering universities in Europe\, \nThe basic objectives of The Conference are to offer an open forum for \n\ndiscussing topics of major common concern\, that are not discussed in other fora\,\nidentifying differences and commonalities of existing solutions to problems of common interest\,\ndeveloping new ideas and – if appropriate – preparing recommendations on specific topics\, and\, thus\,\nforming a “think tank” for the future development of the universities of technology in Europe.\n\n  \nAs an informal group The Conference has no formal international or European organisational structure.

DESCRIPTION:We’re happy to announce that EGI2024 will take place in Lecce\, Italy – from September 30th to October 4th. \nFor this edition of our annual conference\, EGI are closely collaborating with Fondazione Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC)\, based in Lecce. \nAbout CMCC \nThe Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change is an Italian research centre dedicated to climate and climate related research\, including climate variability\, its causes and consequences\, carried out through numerical models ranging from Global Earth System to Regional models within the Euro-Mediterranean area. \nAbout Lecce \nLocated in the very heel of Italy\, Lecce is a gorgeous\, baroque city with a delightful Mediterranean climate at the end of September\, known for its olive oil and wine culture. \nAbout the venue \nThe main location for the conference will be the Hilton Garden Inn in Lecce.
