
Operated by the EGI Foundation on behalf of the EGI Federation, the EOSC Node EGI provides scalable compute, storage, data management and advanced digital research services for data-intensive science.
It delivers EOSC Core and Federating Capabilities including AAI, catalogue, monitoring, accounting, helpdesk and application deployment management, while supporting multi-node use cases in reproducible workflows, AI, sensitive data analysis, machine learning and federated LLM services.
Key objective: To act as a Node for data-intensive computing and large-scale research data exploitation, providing compute, storage, workflow and federating capabilities for EOSC.
Science areas: Data-intensive science, cloud computing, high-throughput computing, high-performance computing, Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, cross-disciplinary research.
SCIENTIFIC IMPACT
The EOSC Node EGI enables large-scale interdisciplinary data exploitation by combining compute, storage, workflows, data services, AI/ML models and EOSC federating capabilities across a distributed European infrastructure.
